Smart Glocal Services Limited – Refund Policy for Telegram Premium Subscriptions

This Refund Policy applies exclusively to the purchase of Telegram Premium subscriptions through Smart Glocal Services Limited (“Smart Glocal”). It governs the refund and cancellation terms for this specific non-tangible digital service. Telegram Premium is delivered to your Telegram account immediately upon purchase, and this policy does not cover any other products or services provided by Smart Glocal.

Refund Policy

All Sales Final: Purchases of Telegram Premium subscriptions via Smart Glocal are final and non-refundable. Because the service is a digital product that is activated and consumed immediately upon purchase, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds once your Telegram Premium subscription has been delivered. This immediate delivery means there is no “cooling-off” period – once the subscription is active, you have full access to the digital service and cannot cancel for a refund simply due to change of mind or non-usage. (In fact, Telegram’s own Terms state that all charges for Telegram Premium are generally nonrefundable and no partial credits are given for unused time.

Waiver of Right to Cancel: By completing your purchase of a Telegram Premium subscription, you expressly acknowledge and agree that we will begin delivering the digital service immediately, and you consent to this instant activation. Accordingly – to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law – you waive any statutory right to withdraw from or cancel your purchase once delivery of the digital content has begun. In jurisdictions that provide consumers a right of cancellation for digital goods (such as a 14-day cooling-off period under certain consumer protection laws), you agree that this right is waived upon purchase due to the instant performance of the service. This waiver is a standard legal principle for digital content and ensures that once you have access to the Telegram Premium features, the transaction is considered final.

Exceptions

Under normal circumstances, no refunds will be issued for Telegram Premium subscriptions. However, we do recognize that exceptional situations can arise. In the limited cases outlined below, you may contact our support team to request a review:
  • Technical Error in Delivery: If a technical error or fault on our side prevented your Telegram Premium subscription from being delivered or activated properly (for example, you paid for the subscription but did not receive the Premium features), please notify us as soon as possible. We will investigate the issue and, if we confirm that you did not receive the service due to a system error, we will provide an appropriate remedy – such as delivering the subscription access you purchased or, if that’s not feasible, issuing a refund (Please note that this does not cover situations where the service is delivered but you encounter general app issues; it applies to cases where the purchase failed to supply the promised subscription benefits due to our error.)
  • Unauthorized or Fraudulent Purchase: If you believe that your Telegram Premium subscription purchase was made without your authorization (for example, if your payment method was used fraudulently to buy the subscription), contact us immediately (ideally within 48 hours of the transaction). We may require additional information or documentation to verify the claim. Once we confirm that an unauthorized charge occurred, we will reverse the transaction or issue a refund for the affected purchase. This is generally the only scenario in which a refund or “charge reversal” would be initiated on an otherwise final sale, and it is in line with standard fraud protection practices.
Please note that aside from the above situations, change of mind, accidental purchases, or dissatisfaction with features are not eligible for refunds, given that the full benefits of Telegram Premium are delivered immediately. We encourage you to review the features of Telegram Premium and your need for them before completing your purchase. If you have any issues using your Premium features, our support team will be happy to assist, but a refund will not be provided for issues outside the scope of the exceptions above.

Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR), where Smart Glocal Services Limited is headquartered and operates. By making a purchase, you agree that any dispute or claim arising from this policy or your Telegram Premium purchase will be resolved in accordance with Hong Kong law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Hong Kong shall have jurisdiction to the maximum extent permitted, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in your country of residence. This governing law provision ensures a clear legal framework for this policy, while not limiting any rights you may have under applicable consumer laws that cannot be waived by contract.
